Memorial Lake State Park’s 230 acres is near the base of Blue Mountain. The park is surrounded by Fort Indiantown Gap, the headquarters for the Pennsylvania Army and Air National Guard.
Boat rentals, warm-water fishing, and light easy hiking are common activities at Memorial Lake State Park. There are picnic tables with charcoal grills, and pavilions with electrical service and trash cans are available with a reservation. Playgrounds and sports fields are nearby. Good birding opportunities arise during migratory season. Winter activities include cross-country skiing, ice fishing and ice skating.
