The 23-acre Mont Alto State Park is in Franklin County, near Caledonia State Park and one mile from the town of Mont Alto.
The West Branch of Antietam Creek flows through the park and offers excellent trout fishing. Short hikes offer wildlife viewing especially woodland birds. There are two picnic areas and two picnic pavilions with restrooms. Access to the public snowmobile trails can be made via Michaux State Forest.
