The Philadelphia Museum of Art is one of the world’s major art museums.  It was established in 1876 and offers a wide variety of fine and decorative arts.  There are over 225,000 pieces of art work from artist in the United States, Asia and Europe.  The collection includes painting masterpieces, sculputres, prints and drawings in addition to furniture, silver, glasswork, architectural elements and rooms furnished from historic houses.

This must see attraction has 3 buildings.  Its Main Building is located on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.  The Perelman Building is located nearby on Pennsylvania Avenue.  The third building is the Rodin Museum.  It is located on the 2200 block of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. All three locations are open year round.

School groups and other education groups are encouraged to visit.  All ages can together discover these fascinating pieces of art.  Teachers and other educators can ask about our videoconferencing and interactive programs.  Adults can ask about our lectures, hands-on workshops, and concerts.
