Eagles Mere Air Museum
The Eagles Mere Air Museum has a collection of vintage planes ranging from 1917-1944. They also have a collection of very rare aircraft and engines.
This is a flying collection of aircraft, not a static collection. Their purpose is not only to teach the public about planes but about the pilots that flew them. Without these pioneers, we would not have the luxury of our current air travel system.
There are approximately 20 airplanes currently located at the field and several more in restoration nearby. All of which you’re able to see up close and personal.
Virtually all of the museum’s collection flies regularly. This is what makes the Eagles Mere Air Museum different from other aviation museums.
