Pymatuning State Park
Pymatuning State Park is the largest state park in Pennsylvania and anything you could possibly want to do, it’s here!
With three campgrounds it has more than any other park. Along with boating, fishing and swimming , at Pymatuning you can enjoying plenty of summer recreational opportunities.
More of a fall or winter vacationer? Then enjoy the parks seven mile hiking trail or picnic while sight-seeing. If you’re the sportsman try ice-fishing, hunting or cross-country skiing.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission operate a fish hatchery and visitor center, and the Pennsylvania Game Commission has wildlife viewing areas and a learning center.
While you’re there you can visit the Pennsylvania Spillway and it’s incredible phenomenom of “ducks walking on water”, where the fish come to be feed by the visitors and are so dense, the duck walk along their backs to share the food!
